THE Stardoll Apocalypse. :[

Animal-Lovers has finally gone. It was the first club I ever joined, and the best one I joined. OriginalClub probably comes in second, and MonthlyGiftClub second.
But I guess those people who said it was going to get deleted were right.

But A-L was a home to me, so it really seems like the apocalypse has come to Stardoll. Or at least to me, it has. I really will miss it, all the memories it shared, but I guess it just never will come back.

I have a very slight feeling, the thing that happened to OC might apply to this, but I highly doubt it, since Stardoll have even said why they have deleted it.

People have got messages from SD Admin, when they complained and asked about the deletion, but they just got an automatic letter back saying stupid things such as 'they didn't listen to the warnings'. The letter is:

'Hi [enter name],
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
Club Animal-Lovers has been deleted by Stardoll. This club received many complaints and many warnings, which all have been ignored. In the end, the club got out of hands and was filled with inapropriate topics, and the owner never cleaned the club.
We are very sorry that we had to close this popular club and we hope that you will find a new club to express yourself in a more suitable environnment.

3 Years Clothes....

Wait...3 years? I'm positive stardoll has been running for a lot longer....

But anyway, I REALLY don't like the look of these clothes, especially on my medoll.

The dress swamps my medolls and looks stupid on it. It's a fairly pretty design, but the shoulders just look silly on small framed medolls. Maybe it will look better on bigger busted medolls....

The jumpsuit looks okay, but something about it on her [my medoll] just looks weird. The top part would be pretty if it were made into a top.

The blazer is pretty pretty [lmao] but I know for sure, I wouldn't wear it, and I cba to use it as a collectors item. It will suit a lot of medolls with that kind of style though.

The skirt just looks gross to me- I'm not a fanny of granny skirts. Period.

...since most of you guys will know about it. But sadly, I was sucked into the whole L.E scam stardoll made and bought some stardollars. I only bought 1 SMS code [which gives you 50sd] hose awesome which is quite good, but I was tempted to buy another one so I could buy one of those awesome bikinis [I would of have to get the 100sd one though] so I settled for the best looking thing that was one of the cheapest. So I got the 'I ♥ Spring' necklace. It's quite pretty, and I love the box it came in.

However, in a starplaza bag next to the LE box, there was a starplaza bag next to it, with one of those mice with a flower in it.

Weird.

12 Gifts? WOW!

WOW.

I went to change my medoll's clothes today and then when I got to my closet, there was a REALLY long line of presents. They were all from this girl called 'LouiseLover' I don't know why she gave me these, but I really want to say THANK YOU to her. Because giving a random person 12 gifts is just unbelivable and so, so generous. I'd give her a SS gift, but I have no money. So when I do get some, she'll be getting one from me. Or, lots of gifts from a non SS account.

Why Buy A Stardoll Dress When You Can...

...make an even better one yourself?

That's what one of stardoll friends, Fifibannana did and it really is a gorgeous dress. We all know she is a fantastic designer, but she really has showed us what she can do with that super creative mind can do with this dress.

Some people [including me] sometimes layer lots of clothes to make one whole outfit. But instead of doing that, Fiona [fifibannana] layered a few of gifts and interior items to make the dress. And unless you actually take the dress apart, you can't actually tell it is made from those.

The funny thing is, she didn't use that many items, and it still looks unbelivable [I guess the too many cooks spoil the broth idea is going on] and altogether, she only used 5 items.

She used:

• 2 black/brown & white tiles as the main pattern for the dress
• 2 'You Look Great!' gifts and used the roses on them as hems to give the curves [and a hem] which made it look more realistic.
• A white rose bead banner thing from interior as a sash or to make the dress one-shouldered. It really tops the dress off since it adds more floral [rose] features to the dress which goes well with the look great gifts. The beads also just give the dress something subtle, but fancy. Like putting a belt on a dress- it just gives it something else.

I like doing this new thing on the blog, telling you guys about the new awesome things I find like scenerys, orginality, ect. You guys probably find my rambling boring, or my taste weird. [Lmao.] But I guess that's part of the reason I made this blog.

Awesome scenery alert

A girl on A-L today asked me if I could check out a scenery for her. And since I was in quite a good mood this afternoon, I decided to check it out.

When I looked at it, I was amazed. She's only 1O and can make sceneries which look better than most 14 year olds can. I seriously was impressed.

Its black translucent curtains are a really good idea for the whole picture, since it sets the eerie mood that the scenery is based on. She also made them cross over which actually gave them a pattern [which some people wouldn't be bothered to do.] She also used the type of scenerys I like- using other medolls to make your own medoll appear to be posing. The leg and arm might have needed to be a bit closer to the body, but that's just me nit-picking. The white hands are a nice touch. She must of either used those arm objects that are used in your suite that can be found on the scenery page, or she must have used gloves.

Overall, it's fantastic.

New Styling Studio? WTF?

It's so new and confusing you can't change your eyes, lips or nose.

I wish stardoll stopped trying to make everything look cool and modern, when they just make everything complicated.

Some Dot [and Doree] Make Up Ideas :]

I've been promising to give some make up tips on here for a while, and since I'm bored [Yeah, I should really be packing for Paris, but oh well] I decided to finally put them on the blog. I made these all last night using the new Dot stuff.

So here we go [please excuse the cheesy names for the styles]:


~NEON PINK~



This look is bright and fun. It's not exactly full on girly, but really is a good look to get noticed ans bring some colour into your medoll's face. A tip is not to go too oveboard with different colour, but quite a bit of one main colour.

1. Put Dot black volumising mascara all over your eyes. (3sd)
   Next, put Dot black kohl pencil around the eyes. Put quite a bit on, but try and keep it a solid colour of black and not smokey. (6sd)
2. Get the electric pink shade stick and put it on your eyes. Try not to go overboard, keep the pencil close to your eye and [while keeping it even] keep going over the same line you have made to enchance the colour. (8sd)
3. Next, go to 'Dot Lips' and put the electric pink lip pen [top shelf] on your lips and keep going over untill you get the brightest shade of it. (9sd)
4. Go in to 'Dot Face' and pick up the Magenta blush. Don't go overboard with the blush [like quite a few people have in the past with the seophora stuff] and just put it right at the edge of your medoll's cheeks [to keep it bright but subtle] and stop in the middle of the cheek. Don't keep going over it, because then you ruin the point of keeping of keeping it fairly subtle [since the blush is quite bright as it is] (8sd)
5. In Doree put the honey blonde in your hair [optional] or change your hair to a blonde colour in your suite to save money. [White hair dye will look even better if you own it](6sd)
   

Total: 40sd

~BLUE BEAUTY~

A nice calming blue look. It might look icey on some medolls, but on others, it might look angelic with the mixture of sky blue and aqua. I made this look since light blue is my favourite colour and it just looks 'heavenly' [sorry for the bad pun]. The main focus of this style is the eye makeup.

1. Put the black volumising mascara all over eyes. (3sd)
   
2. Instead of kohl, get the aqua liquid liner. You can go quite overboard with this [make sure you use the flicks] but don't put it in the corner of your eyes near the nose- that just looks tacky. (3sd)
3. Place the sky blue eyeshadow [bottom shelf] in an arc on just on top of your eyes. Like the neon, don't go too high with it [definatly not up to the eyebrows] and just keep going over the line for the full colour. Also remeber to put it next to the flick. (5sd)
4. In 'Dot lips' put the peach lipstick on your lips-NOT the blue liner because you'll look scary and icy- not calming. The peach lipstick gives subtle warmth, but doesn't attract too much attention to itself. (8sd)
5. Put the peachy blush on. This time, start from the bottom of the eyes and while gradually reducing the colour finish just after the pupils of your eye. Do the same all down your apple of your cheek. (8sd)
6. In Doree, put on the Bleached Denim hair dye (6sd).

Total: 39sd.

~LAVENDER BABY~

Bascially the same style as 'Blue Beauty' but in lavender.

1. Put the black volumising mascara all over eyes. (3sd)
2. Again, instead of kohl, use the lavander liquid liner. You can go quite overboard with this as well [but still make sure you make flicks] but don't put it in the corner of your eyes near the nose- that just looks tacky. (3sd)
3. Put the dirty pink shade stick in an arc on just on top of your eyes. Like the neon and blue, don't go too high with it [definatly not up to the eyebrows] and just keep going over the line for the full colour. Also remeber to put it next to the flick. (8sd)
4. In 'Dot lips' put the blush lipstick on your lips-it makes your eyes have more attention to. (8sd)
5. I couldn't decide what colour hair to have this one, but if you have purple hair dye, use that. Dark browns or light browns might work with this style.

Total: 27sd

~PRETTY IN PINK~

A light pink and girly look. It is perfect for spring and a must have for pastel colour-lovers.

1. Put Dot black volumising mascara all over your eyes. (3sd)
2. Next, put Dot dusty pink kohl pencil around the eyes. Put quite a bit on, but try and keep it a solid colour or you won't see the colour. It is optional to have, but I think it looks better if you put it on. (6sd)
3. Get the powder shade stick and put it on your eyes. Try not to go overboard, keep the pencil close to your eye and [while keeping it even] keep going over the same line you have made to enchance the colour since the colour is so pale. (8sd)
4. Next, go to 'Dot Lips' and put the cotton candy lipstick on your lips and keep going over untill you get the brightest bubble gum pink shade of it to give the girly cute look. (9sd)
5. You can put a light shade of blush on this look, but I decided not to.
6. In Doree put the ash blonde in your hair [optional] or change your hair to a very light blonde colour in your suite to save money.(6sd)
   

Total: 34sd

~THE SHOW STOPPER~

This or the neon one are is probably my favourite style. However, only a few can pull this look off without looking like a tart. You can't put too much makeup on, but you need to put enough to make people notice you. Hence the name 'show stopper'.

1. Put Dot black volumising mascara all over your eyes. (3sd)
   Next, put Dot black kohl pencil around the eyes. Put quite a bit on, but try and keep it a solid colour of black and not smokey. (6sd)
2. Next, go to 'Dot Lips' and put the flame red lip pen [top shelf] on your lips and keep going over untill you get the brightest shade of it. (9sd)
3. Go in to 'Dot Face' and pick up the Flame Red blush. Don't go overboard with the blush or you seriously willlook like a whore [I kinda did in the picture] and just put it right at the edge of your medoll's cheeks [to keep it bright but subtle] and stop in the middle of the cheek. Don't keep going over it, because then you ruin the point of keeping of keeping it fairly subtle but at least go over it once to bring out the brightness. (8sd)
4. In Doree put the chesnut brown in your hair [optional] or change your hair to very dark brunette [not black] in your medoll editor to save money. (6sd)
   

Total: 32sd

New Make Up Shop :]

Say goodbye to Sephora with it's almost fancy colours and styles of make-up. There is a new make up store in town (or Starplaza at least) called 'Dot.' I'm not sure if it is a real brand like Sephora [since I don't live in the U.S.A and there isn't even Sephora here in England]. But it is quite nice and consists of many neon and bright colours.

However, I do miss some things about starplaza such as:

• Kat Von D [Okay, I didn't really like lip stuff from there, but I'll miss there blue eyeshadow and stuff]
• The range of small kohl eyeliner pencils. In 'Dot.' there are only boring colours and 3 that I like. They are: Black [which I like], 2 browns, olive, light pink and blue [which I both like]. In sephora, they had a much better colour range.
• Lip-Liners. They were quite a useful tool for making lips bigger and so I will actually miss them.

What I love about the new shop:

• The range of colours in the mascara, lipsticks, liquid eyeliner and blushes. They are all beautiful and there are colours which will suit everyone's style and medolls. Plus, it's just a nice change in the mascara and eyeliner department. So now, instead of brown and black there are black, olive and 2 browns [gross colours but oh well] and even more colours in the liquid liner part.
• The brightness of the colours. They really do brighten the look of your medoll ready for spring and summer.
• The blushers. They look A LOT better than the sephora ones and have beautiful colours.

So overall, I really do like the new shop and have already made some make up tips and I promise to post them. I guess the only downside of them is that they are higher in price than Sephora.
